Product Aotearoa Conference 2026

Call for Speakers.

The Augmented PM, Product in the Real World, and Leading Product — on 12 November 2026.

The Augmented PMProduct in the Real WorldLeading Product

Last year, more than 350 product professionals from across Aotearoa joined us to hear from global and local leaders, including David Bland, Melissa Firth, Bowen Pan, Corinna Stukan, Matt Gerrie, Claire Byrne, Dave Killeen, Ania Mastalerz, and Stu Van Rij.

This year we're running three tracks, built around what the NZ product community has actually told us they want.

  • The Augmented PM — AI, tools, and the changing shape of the role. AI tooling in real workflows, PM-as-coder, what AI PM roles actually look like, and the skills PMs need to stay relevant.
  • Product in the Real World — stories, craft, and the messy middle. War stories, failure retros, GTM realities, discovery that actually happened, and measuring impact honestly. Real talk, not hype — and voices from beyond SaaS very welcome.
  • Leading Product — strategy, influence, and the NZ context. Commercial skills, stakeholder influence, building and coaching PM teams, and what product leadership looks like here — local investors, the NZ job market, and competing globally from Auckland.

Speaker format — sessions are approximately 30 minutes. Panels work well for the Real World track if you'd rather pitch one of those.

We want the real stories. How AI is reshaping your day-to-day as a PM, a hard-won lesson from shipping in the messy middle, or what you've learned leading product in the NZ market. Bring the framework, the case study, or the honest retro — pitch your talk below.

Submissions close at the end of June 2026.

Which track does it fit — The Augmented PM, Product in the Real World, or Leading Product? A short paragraph on what you'll cover is perfect.

Optional — links to past talks, conferences, or meetups are great.
